PR 50 – SEMI-STRUCTURAL
A curtain wall system for exterior building facades and large semi-structural storefronts.

Key Features of PR50 Semi-Structural
- Uniform Appearance: The same casement profile is used for both fixed and projected windows, ensuring uniformity in the internal and external appearance. A significant advantage is the ability to convert fixed windows to projected (or vice versa) even after the curtain wall is completed.
- Casement Profile Options: Three different types of casement profiles are available: simple, thermally insulated with a 16mm polyamide, and thermally insulated with a 24mm polyamide, covering various insulation needs.
- Accommodates Double Glazing: The system supports glazing thicknesses from 24 to 40mm, offering flexibility in material use.
- Perimeter Casement Securing: The casement is secured around its perimeter using special connectors, providing increased stability and safety.
- Absolute Watertightness: Connectors are designed so that the window’s weight enhances the compression of the EPDM gaskets, achieving absolute watertightness in constructions.
- Perimeter Locking for Projected Windows: Provides the option for secure perimeter locking for projected windows.
- Anti-Seismic Protection: The casement can move by ±5mm without the risk of dislodging, offering additional protection in case of an earthquake.
- Resistance to Glazing Weight: Aluminum profiles are used for glazing blocks, ensuring that the glazing weight does not affect the casement’s wing, maintaining the correct appearance of the frame’s mitered joints.
- Water-tightness: Watertightness is achieved through the use of three EPDM gaskets, ensuring protection against moisture.
- Reduced Profile Requirements: The system uses common mullions and transoms with standard and structural curtain walls, thereby reducing the number of required profiles.
